East Village life
The always-bustling East Village is home to many of Manhattan’s most exciting cultural institutions, world famous restaurants, and popular nightlife venues. One such venue is Blind Barber, a classic barbershop by day, and trendy cocktail bar by night. Café Mogador, especially known for its brunch, has been serving hungry New Yorkers since 1983, and David Chang’s Momofuku restaurants continue to attract crowds from far and wide. Other neighborhood hot spots include spa-day favorite Russian & Turkish Baths, and the comedy venue Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. With the L train conveniently located at 14th Street and First Avenue, any city destination is within reach.
